Chefs Wanted for Sportshop's Restaurant in Grebbestad Summer 2026!

We are now looking for a chef who wants to spend the summer season with us at Restaurant Farmor Ellen in Grebbestad – located inside the largest sports store in the Nordics, Sportshopen! Job Responsibilities 👩🏼‍🍳

As a chef with us, you play a key role in providing our guests with a truly great dining experience. You work closely with the serving staff, and together you create a well-functioning flow in both the kitchen and dining room. The days are both fun, varied, and full of pace.

Examples of job responsibilities:

• Cooking and preparing our dishes
• Ensuring high quality and good hygiene in the kitchen
• Contributing to a clean, fresh, and organized kitchen
• Assisting with cash handling and guest interactions as needed

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working as a chef or in a restaurant kitchen
• Has a strong interest in food and ingredients
• Is meticulous, responsible, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Is service-minded and flexible
• Enjoys working in a team and has good communication skills

Our Offer

Employment period: June-August
Employment scope: 60-100%
Working hours: varying times on weekdays and weekends
Salary: according to collective agreement with the Union of Trade Employees

In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast, we also have our headquarters and our largest store, which is the largest sports store in the Nordics at 14,000 sqm.

Our stores are located throughout Sweden, from north to south, with a growing e-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is today one of the larger individual players in Sweden in sales within sports and leisure. Our range mainly consists of clothing and shoes from leading brand suppliers, but we also develop and manufacture our own brands – clothing that can be used for activities in harsh climates, all year round.
